About

Energizing the Tesla Faithful

Our group organizes bi-monthly meet-ups around Los Angeles and Southern California. We like to drive to engaging locations and relax, eat and mingle.

Sometimes we do quick half-day runs and other times we’ll do weekend getaways. We’ve driven up to Mount Wilson for some sightseeing, and down to the Queen Mary for a jazz brunch. We’ve gone west to Malibu for a holiday toy drive, and east to Palm Springs for a weekend retreat. We’ve checked out Santa Barbara’s Green Show to meet with the Nor-Cal Tesla Owners for a weekend of wine tasting. Own a Tesla in the Los Angeles area? Check out our “Upcoming” and previous “Ex-EVents” and join in the fun.

Meet the Club Leaders

Jason Fudenberg, Club President

Jason Fudenberg, Club President

As an EV advocate, techie enthusiasts and computer geek, Jason (aka Dr. Computer) is a champion of Tesla Motors from the beginning. He typically likes to have the newest, fastest and bestest in any technology.   Jason owns a 2.0 Roadster and Model X with Ludicrous mode.  He just sold his Signature Red Model S, since one guy does not need THREE electric cars. You may know Jason best for his clearly designed Rally Scavenger Hunts in the Los Angeles area.

Renee Swenson, Event Director

Renee is a professional corporate event manager, who has worked for some of the largest fortune 100 companies, including Cisco, Apple and Disney. Starting with the SoCal Greenspeed Club (SCGS, now known as Tesla Club LA) in 2009, Renee began planning outings, drives, meet-ups and parties for SoCal Roadster owners and partnered with the Tesla Motors team to help bring the passion and excitement to local Tesla community events, high schools and green events all over California.

Eric (VFX) Swenson, Creative Director

Eric (VFX) Swenson, Creative Director

As a director, cinematographer and VFX supervisor, Eric has worked in the visual effects industry for over 22 years on some of Hollywood’s biggest blockbusters and award-winning commercials. With his background, Eric had the opportunity to write and direct seven PSAs for Plug in America with over two million views on Hulu.

Paige Seidel Hutton, Communications Director

Paige Seidel Hutton, Communications Director

Paige, her husband, Todd Hutton, and their son Henry, joined the Tesla family in 2012 with their Signature Model S. They would sometimes argue who got to drive the car by which one was driving the farthest that day. Now that they have a Model X with ludicrous mode, the only argument is who wants to drive the fastest.

Robert Rosenbloom, Membership Director

Robert Rosenbloom, Membership Director

Robert is one of the newest members to the leadership team.  He owns a white Model S and spends many hours and miles trekking between Culver City and Oxnard where he is an emergency room physician.  You will not find a more enthusiastic Tesla owner as Robert so it seemed like a natural fit to tap him as the club’s “Membership Director”. You can here his dulcet tones on the Talking Tesla Podcast, available on iTunes.

Sandie Minasian, Newsletter Editor

Sandie Minasian, Newsletter Editor

Sandie’s run in with the Porter Ranch gas leak gave her even more reason to “Go Electric”. She has joined the team as the Newsletter Editor and provides tips and stories about everything Tesla.  Sandie and her son, “Young Eric”, are very active in the EV community and host one of Plug In Americas’ “National Drive Electric Week” events in Woodland Hills.
